Two VERY different interviews with me

By pure coincidence, two quite different interviews with yours truly were posted on popular blogs today.

The first was by Network2.tv founder Jeff Pulver. Jeff and I hung out a bit last week during Canadian Music Week, and he asked me about my entry into his "How To Watch Internet TV" contest.

The second was by Sara Scurfield for the Association of Internet Marketing & Sales (AIMS) Canada blog. Sara and I spoke about band/brand marketing in Second Life, part of the lead up to my AIMS presentation next week the always awesome C.C. Chapman.

Mitch Joel says "yes." Bob Lefsetz says "hell NO!" What do you think? Does the idea of branding cheapen music, or is it important part of the model for the modern music business?
